This is a very short note to say that I’ve got a bad internet connection on Cat Ba Island. It’s a pain to wait for the pages to load (or to fail in loading).

Tomorrow I travel to Ha Noi, where the hotel I’m staying at is noted for its excellent internet access. I’ll be able to talk about monkeys (hidden), sea kayaking (fell in the sea), trekking (more like goat-track climbing), and other adventures! 

(Tonight there is some sort of ball game on TV, I don’t know why but everybody is watching… I wonder what may be happening *wink*)

    Bonjour Elisabeth,

    Malgré mes années en Afrique du Sud, mon anglais s’est un peu perdu en route, donc je te réponds en français.
    Je suis admirative de ton voyage ! bravo ! Je reconnais bien le talent photographique Laurens.

    Profite bien de chaque journée, avec chacune leur lot de surprise.
