I was taken to visit Mount Maunganui after the different gold mines.

Karangahake Gorge and its surroundings hills used to be exploited by different gold mine exploitation, including Victoria. The battery is the place where the ore was treated to extract the gold.

I went on a cruise in the Bay of Islands. I also took the ferry to Russell, the town on the other side of the bay, for a walk. And I walked to Haruru Falls.
