Museum of Contemporary Art
Day 133 – Sydney, Australia
Today was another slow day. I made pancakes for brunch with peanut butter and tea, then went out with the vague idea of going to the Botanic Gardens (there is an exhibit about carnivorous plants that I haven’t seen yet).
I ended up at the Museum of Contemporary Art instead. Nothing like deciding to turn left instead of right when leaving the train station to derail your plans.
I’m not that fan of contemporary art, though some artists make interesting things. Actually, it’s more that it is interesting – but makes one think, and not always in the direction I feel like thinking. But they have a gallery of Aborigine art and that I like.
All in all I didn’t like many pieces, and I took few pictures. I think my favorite is the one I put as a header, Caravan. I like the idea of barnacles on balloons.
There is not much more to say, I walked a bit around the harbour, took some new pictures of the Opera House, but they are not that nice either, with the overcast sky.
If the weather is nicer tomorrow, I will try to take advantage!
Intéressant…mais peut-être pas de quoi vibrer intensément!
Et il fait froid, dis-tu…Peut-être demain sera-t-il meilleur?
