Camping with the kangaroos
Halls Gap, The Grampians, Australia
Hi there ! I’m finally using my camper van to camp… in the middle of nowhere. I have found a nice, free campground, with free bathroom and free of showers and running water.
The bed at the back is comfy, the doona (we are in Australia) thick and warm, and I had a great night. Of course, I can either use the inside light and deplete the battery, or go to bed at nightfall. Which occurs around 7.
I changed states, I’m in Victoria, which means that I’m half an hour more behind.
So, camping means no electricity, no Wi-Fi, no phone reception, and no easily added pictures. So my regular updates will be short until I get back to a hostel. It also means meandering kangaroos grazing right between the camping areas.
(I also saw mountain goats this morning, more kangaroos, and something ostrich-like that fled through the bushes when I drove by.)
Ah!
