Foiled travel plans

Day 78 – Jogja, Indonesia

So, I had these nicely laid-out plans to leave today for Bali. I had finally found my next destination, a lovely beach with dolphins, really, it was perfect.

Except that the 17th is the equivalent of Independence Day here, and guess what happens when you try to travel around this date? It’s full. Surprise!

So I’m staying two more days here, and as my nice hostel was already booked full, I switched to a smaller, farther, way cheaper hostel where I’m going to lay back and stop spending.

There are cats.

We had words, well, one-sided words, about sharing my snacks, as in I wouldn’t share. Mean of me, I know.

So the cat chose to go attack the tassels on the cushion (see picture above), and play on the narrow part of a stool. Because, cats.
