Tropics!

Day 137 – Nadi, Fiji

I made it to the tropics, the beach, the sea, the warmth, the… night that has already fallen by the time the plane landed, so I haven’t seen anything yet outside the dark through the hostel shuttle’s windows.

I do hear the sea from the terrace I’m writing from, maybe I should go and have a walk on the beach.

It’s still raining though, I left a cold rain behind to get a warm one here, I’ll take the exchange.

I’m one more hour forward, so it’s 9:30 pm here while it’s 11:30 am in Paris.

I’ve already booked a four-night island tour, starting Wednesday, so I will still write tomorrow, but I doubt that I’ll have internet there… and if I don’t, I won’t take my computer! And I’ll be back on Sunday. I’m hoping to snorkel.

I’ve been told to take water and snacks with me, as they cost a lot more in the island.

More interesting details tomorrow, I hope!
